When first viewing Monica Fallini’s early art, I saw a raw talent, but one filled with more potential for creative growth. Her more recent work showed an artist on the precipice of a creative breakthrough. Monica’s warm, but somewhat shy manner did not hide a dedicated and energetic artist, just waiting to “spread her wings”. In 2010, she is “In flight”.
Fallini’s work is about joy and freedom, in living nature. Her colors are bold and exciting, with something of an ethereal quality. Her 2010 “Urban Memories VII #2” shows her, again, moving forward,-----from her outstanding poppy and ocean series to return with a fervor and boldness to bring us back to her urban memories. The “gritty” urban road plows the center of colorful buildings, contrasting and suggesting animated activity as people go about their everyday lives. The 2009 “Urban Memories VII”, while delightful, seems to depict a paler, less dynamic existence, and a 2008 version is a “suggestion” of what is to come. The artist shares her path of creative growth with us, and we feel the joy and free spirit that emerges as she breaks free into another realm of creativity.
The 2010 Abstraction #10727 shows a depth of angular paint, pushing and enveloping delightful pools of vibrant red color, within a static, narrow frame,-----pulsating life bursting its way towards total abandonment.
Monica’s fabulous “Poppies” dance about her canvases, stepping forward to greet the viewer, as if asking them to join in a joyous celebration of life and nature. “Fluid Sands Oceanic Depths” seems to show the merging quality of life, -----its beauty, and its power, at times merging into an all encompassing presence.
Monica Fallini has the talent, the passion, the dedication of a true artist. Add to that, her ability to push herself from the comfort of one style or topic into progressively more and more exciting realms, and we know that we will continue to be delighted as she soars ever higher.

You do a great job of promoting your work.
We are delighted each day when we look at the pieces we purchased from you at the Denton Jazz Fest.
We hope to purchase more in the future.
You have such wonderful pieces...my wife L., who was an antique dealer in Vienna and Richmond, VA, for many years, past away...That said, I want to complete my home with beautiful art, so that my 2 teenage daughters will share in her beauty and appreciation of fine things...Sincerest appreciation for contributing to this goal!
